Artwork on Paper

I completed a Bachelor of Arts, with a major in Drawing with Honours in 1999, to this day drawing portraits on paper intrigue me. The tactile texture of watercolour paper lends itself to creating beautiful lines and colours, especially when it features a higher gsm to elevate the artistic process. I enjoy exploring the complexities of layering different mediums such as paints (watercolour and acrylic), inks and pencils along with tactile methods like scratching and fingerprinting to create distinctive and engaging portraits.
